She knows that he is
watching,
Waiting for a moment to strike.
Watching every hour, minutes that pass by
she longs to reach the unknown of time and of space.
Stretching every minute in hope to glimpse a face,
Holding every breath to get a simple taste,
Of his thoughts, feelings, the air he breathes.
Hoping to catch his stillness and catch him unaware,
Wondering doomed every watching in the midst of her despair.
She prays beyond all reason that he might calm her lambs,
Screaming, screaming likened to the damned.
Knowing only in damnation can she find peace,
He is her Alpha and Omega, her beginning her end.
Fearing not the unknown but, the known instead,
She willingly surrenders her heart, life to him,
In him she dies, that she might live again.
