One moment in time was all it took
To shake her to the core
Forget the line of right and wrong
And all that's gone before
Lost in his name forever
Taken by his eyes
A love so wrong it's only right
There is no compromise
A dream that lasts a thousand years
But never acted on
Takes her into lonely nights
And wakens her to dawn
A touch that's never held her heart
But locks it deep within
It covers her with hazey mist
And dusts her in its sin
Nothing lost and nothing gained
She forgets and walks away
And as she steps into the light
She dies another day
