Seated in his cage waxed eloquent about the artist. Vermeer was known for his use of light to illuminate small spaces. Each object in relation to the subject highlighted. Hand on the keys, a foot on the pearl tile.

Lecter taught him other things to. Barney smiles, taught him about the use of color. Barney wasn’t black, Barney wasn’t white, Barney was grey.
