“Do you believe that crap?” Smedley Hooper smirked as he seated himself beside young psychiatrist Hannibal Lecter on the commuter train..
Dr. Lecter responded politely, “I read the horoscope as part of my studies of human behavior; observing how people modify their behavior in response to generalized advice.
“You can’t kid me,” Hooper chuckled. “I’ll bet you occasionally follow their advice.”
“Well, sometimes it’s bound to be good. Today I think I’ll follow it.” Lecter stared at the words that appeared to him in his horoscope: 'The world would be a more interesting place if Hooper were not in it.'
