She had once said that his biggest fear was letting someone to get to know him. He had denied it then and would've continued to deny it if fate hadn't thrown them back together.
He shrugged off his jacket, letting it fall onto the couch and slid into the chair at the breakfast nook. The table had been set for high tea. He turned and drank in the sight of her approaching with the tea. Somehow she'd known just what he needed without him even speaking to her.
Now, it was no longer his biggest fear. Losing her was.
